I hired Honda Civic for 2 days outside Lahore with driver. Driver didn't show up on time and turned out to be the vehicle owner himself, who is working part time with agency based on commission, and came with empty fuel tank .Talking on the phone throughout the journey and was extremely noisy and our repeated requests to remain calm had no effects on him. Second day kept on forcing us to leave early because he had to attend wedding at 9 pm and on motorway drove extremely fast even up to 160 + km/h and even repeated requests to slow down he never listened. Icing on cake he escaped from paying motorway toll tax and offered me half of tax money as bribe which I refused to be a part of it. It was shocking . Picked up one of his relative on ring road interchange without my consent and refused to drop me on my destination because he was getting late for his own party and started fighting and arguing in loud voice and even was arguing to give him 3000 rupees additional as fuel charges to return to his home . Left me with no choice except to let him go and get down at the nearest possible drop-off although it was just 9:20 Pm and I had the right to keep the car still. I went to airport through another taxi. Extremely pathetic and disappointing experience. Never hire a car driven by his owner. He literally made me feel embarrassed in front of my relatives.
